ACTIVE SIDEGUARD ASSIST 2. (ASGA 2)
Maximised use is the third pillar of RoadEfficiency. And key factors here are inherently reliable, high-quality trucks and technical innovations.

ACTIVE BRAKE ASSIST 6. (ABA 6)
Active Brake Assist (ABA 6) is an advanced Mercedes-Benz safety system that uses radar and camera sensors to detect hazards like other vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, providing visual and auditory warnings and initiating partial or full-stop automated braking to prevent or reduce collision severity. ABA 6 uses 270-degree "fusion technology" for better environmental perception, enabling it to react to moving and stationary objects in bends at high speeds and to pedestrians and cyclists at speeds up to 60 km/h. The system performs a three-stage warning cascade, with automated braking occurring if the driver fails to respond.

FRONTGUARD ASSIST. (FGA)
Frontguard Assist can increase driving safety even before drivers set off: it monitors the traffic area in front of the vehicle and supports the driver in the speed range up to 15 km/h, e.g. when the vehicle is stationary, when moving off or at junctions. If the system detects moving objects in front of the vehicle, such as people, the warning system can help the driver react in good time with a two-stage hazard warning.
